According to PWInsider.com, WWE has released "Tough Enough" winner Andy Leavine, who had been working at Florida Championship Wrestling under the name Kevin Hackman.
Leavine won the "Tough Enough" series back in 2010. Leavine was used in a few vignettes about his training in WWE, but was never utilized again on the main roster.

What the point of having a contest, choosing a winner, then never using him? I just don't get it.

Its the same thing with Johnny Curtis winning NXT Season 4...how many times have we seen him? Maybe 3? Yet Brodus Clay was the runner up...and he's got a semi over gimmick now. We all know NXT was fixed, why not have just declared Brodus the winner, if you were going to use him more anyways?

If I were Andy Leavine I would have considered it all a waste of time.

Gawd, these contest don't help anybody do they? Out of everything that they've held, who are the only ones who benefited from it? Layla, Eve, and Miz are like the only ones still around from any and all of those.

Wade Barrett is more than likely a future World Champion, and Morrison was around for a good while (though under utilized). Darren Young and Titus O'Neil are getting a tag push it seems, Plus Daniel Bryan is doing great...he's proved he was above NXT. But overall, its just the people they declare winners that they never get past developmental, that makes me scratch my head.

Oh, pfft, I never counted NXT. It's a hell of a lot more less legitimate than the Diva search and Tough Enough. All of those NXT guys get used in one way or another. And I didn't mention JoMo since he bounced.

But yeah, I was one of what seemed to be a select few that was routing for Andy hoping that he'd be my next Test. Honestly I'd completely forgotten about him and had I not heard the news I wouldn't be as [upset] as I am. I agree that if somebody is gonna be declared the "winner" of these things, least they can do is "attempt" to make some moves instead of having the runners up or early eliminated cats show up and rule ass

I can not confirm yet or not...but a rumor tonight is that Dustin "Goldust" Runnels(Rhodes) might be released over the weekend
