I just read through your other Chrome threads (Never knew you posted them). The thing with Chrome and Firefox being open source browsers, is they don't work the same way for everyone. For you, I'd say drop Chrome and go back to Firefox if it works for you....your specific computer, just functions better with the coding built into Firefox then it does with Chrome. I'm the complete opposite, Chrome works perfectly for me, whereas Firefox is slow and buggy.
As for this specific problem in this thread, I've never seen this before...sounds more like a bug in Gmail than Chrome. What I would do is copy and paste that error message into Google and see what it says. But again seeing all the problems you seem to have with Chrome, I'd just go back to using Firefox. Use what works.
