see the difference between Punk/Jericho/Sheamus and Austin and especially Mankind&Taker?,Mankind/Taker&Austin look like exact copies straight out of the Attitude game But clearer!

Thanks for the slow mo. I see they didn't give taker his chokeslam, and kinda with them being a little blocky.. Though, the models they have are not the same as none of their bodies are close to the same form. I always wondered how they did/do renders for deceased or retired wrestlers. It was a lot easier when wrestlers and animations were hand drawn., I'd figure.

Yeah that is what I mean is it looks like some of the moves like the GTS doesn't connect very good / well.
Another thing I disliked is when Taker did the choke Slam to Mankind it looked pretty awful, only because you never see a superstar move how Mankind did after the choke Slam was done. Hopefully that is fixed before the release of the game, I don't know but to me it just didn't look all that great.

Just give Taker Chokeslam 5 or Kharma's as I did for WWE'12 and will just do it again for'13..Boom problem solved,Anyway as for the graphics thing now I think perhaps maybe they started work on Punk/Jericho&Sheamus before the Attitude Era guys!?

That's all well and good but people shouldn't have to change move sets / finishers, they should be done correctly from the whole start of the game, however I understand it's not like that and people have to go through & change moves etc. I believe it was SVR 11 or 10 which I end up having to download the correct move sets for all of the superstars & divas because non of them where right from what a friend of my pointed out to me and I thought they where not right either.
Whatever the case is, it's another lazy part on THQ & Yukes for not getting these little things done right from the star of the game, but no instead they force people into fixing there mistakes etc, which to me is kinda crazy.
Detroit
No we shouldn't But I rather have an option to change it myself than none at all and so I'm happy for that,This"But we shouldn't"argument is years old and I seem the only one over it,It takes less than a minute to change that damn chokeslam and to makes moves accurate yeah it takes a while But totally worth it when you start playing it about half an hour or less with the roster!!!

I agree with you on the fact that I like having the option / choice to change moves etc. However I also think and feel THQ & Yukes should be able to get the moves right with out having to change them in the first place inless a superstar adds a move or something then that would be a bit different. But I do get where your coming from.

It's now confirmed that CM Punk now have his pepsi tattoo. Cannot see his GI Joe - Cobra tattoo from this angle.
It's a version of the pepsi tattoo,It's turned with the middle line facing down and I think the colors are inverted,That's still good enough for me though!!!

Is it me or is memorial Day an odd time to be rolling out the game? I meant to mention this, but couldn't remember if that I saw that correctly and then I saw your post and realized I wasn't imagining that. It's weird for a couple of reasons. I mean it's the day we're remembering the fallen who gave their lives for this country. It's not disrespectful, but to some this day means a great deal. Also, people are usually doing things like bbqs and whatnot. I mean it's not like they are getting ratings or anything, but most people will be doing things I would imagine. Thirdly, they are rolling out now, but have nothing for E3 where they would get so much MORE EXPOSURE. I am not criticizing, I just thought it seemed like an odd day. Well, those are thoughts for what their worth.

I agree it does seem kinda odd for THQ to release a trailer or anything on a day meant to remember the fallen. However the WWE doesn't take a break, so maybe there looking at it as just another day, I could be wrong about that.
Whatever the case is, I think THQ could have had there act together for E3 but they where not ready and I guess that is why there choosing to do things a bit different. Is it right ? probably not, but no body said it's wrong either.
Oh.. on a side note maybe THQ didn't want the trailer out as soon as Monday on the 28th of May however maybe they where going to do it next month and then some how somebody release the trailer by accident and now we are getting information sooner then what THQ wanted & had hoped for. No body truly knows for sure.

So, I guess I am not alone in thinking this. The thing about them not having something for E3 makes no sense because it's a few weeks from now. Even if they didn't have a playable demo just a couple of videos, it's a worthwhile investment just to get a booth. They would be given a ton of free media coverage and that's just good business. It just doesn't make sense to me.

We still dont know who is releasing the video yet. All we know is that they tried to lock all the videos because they promised someone first dibbs, and they are choosing to release it on Memorial day (This isnt a knock, but there is no better day to release something, than a day when most people are not working) The other thing is that they are showcasing this game and a couple others at E3 (What they are showing is unknown though) they just are not having a booth (Although, I'm getting the feeling that they have no plans of allowing anything said at E3 to go out to the public, until a later date.)
E3 is next week. Millions of people watch Raw every week which probably adds up to more viewers than any single game site would provide. If they show it on Raw, especially with the buildup as if it's a debuting superstar like they have, it will catch the interest of those watching. A link to an article with a video of the game on a gaming site isn't going to attract every viewer on that site. Not everyone on a gaming site is a wrestling fan. Everyone watching wrestling on Monday Night is at least somewhat interested. It makes more sense to debut a trailer on Raw than on a gaming site and even more sense to do it the week before E3. I don't think the fact that it's Memorial Day had much to do with it. But, WWE has always been big on honoring war veterans and heroes so I think it only helps their cause. I'm a 2 time Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran myself. There are people whom I remember today that I was with on those deployments and are no longer here. The fact they are debuting a trailer tonight doesn't anger me in the slightest. Of course, I don't speak for everyone in the Armed Forces or anyone that was in them before besides myself. Considering I was in for 9 years though, I think that it really has no effect on the majority whether a video game debuts a trailer today or not.
With that said, to the trailer itself. It looks alright, about as much as I expected for the first trailer, especially with only a few confirmations via Twitter by Cory Ledesma. Most of the things he confirmed were only issues we requested to be fixed in WWE '12 that never made it on the current game. We'll have to wait for E3 until we get any actual info about some of the "big" additions and revamps in WWE '13.
First off, thank you for your service and I appreciate what yoou and your fallen heroes have done for our country. I was not condemning them I just thought it was odd. As for E3 there is a much bigger impact than having a link on a game site or on a TV show (which I sincerely doubt they will ever debut a teaser trailer for, but that's just my opinion), it's to get NON-WRESTLING fans interested and broadening the base. If there's a buzz that something going on at THQ's booth. You could get interest from people who are into First person shooter to dancing video games. That's something that is free and would bring a lot more attention than just a site or show who basically only wrestling video game fans are looking for.

Well it's not like showing the trailer tonight on RAW denotes the fact the we still might see the trailer or even a second trailer at E3. It basically works like chain of command (No pun intended to the military conversation).
You start with people like us, the really hardcore side of the fan base, screw waiting for RAW, we get the leaked info...we're on top of things first.
Then you get the rest of the core fans, plus some casuals who will see the trailer tonight on RAW...these were the people who didn't know about the leaked trailer, plus it'll proably be shown on Friday on Smackdown as well, catching the people that may have missed RAW.
Then you go ahead and show the trailer at E3, grabbing the market that may not be wrestling fans but could get interested in playing a wrestling game.
It's honestly quite genius, THQ covers all the ground leading into E3.
