Not too many videos out there

Except for that hour of gameplay on a pretty early build from gamespot au, there's been a handful of gameplay vids from even offscreen demos. I don't know if they tightened up security, but how many actual matches from demos, I should say full matches have we seen? I don't count the infinite finishers where you can't actually see how the match would actually play out. I mean there's a whole lot of non news and even less of those poorly shot camera phone vids compared to the last couple of years. We aren't going to see a match on a late build and we barely see matches of an INCOMPLETE game exactly 1 month out.

I am saying that we have been subjected to so little gameplay footage with a month to its release. We aren't getting any inside the ring. We have a handful of matches from demos. We KNOW so LITTLE about how the game plays when you can't SEE how the game plays. That is my point.

It most likely plays nearly the same as WWE 12 but maybe a bit more smoother if that. It's just my guess.

You & all others like my self probably won't see anything more then we already have. We are less then 29 days away before the game comes out give or take a few days, so by that point you will know for your self that is if the game is going to be up to your standers or not. Which is my guess here it most likely won't be.

The bottom line here is, we will probably never get what we have been asking for years on end. We could bag and ask for years on end and we may never get what we want out of THQ as far as a WWE game goes.

Maybe if THQ gives the rights to the WWE games up, then sure we may finally see some kind of change but it's highly unlikely unless THQ goes under.

The number of inside the videos were almost a foregone conclusion when it was announced that they had to change the community leader. With it being Aubrey's first year, you can bet that thq had a nice short leash on the content he puts out there...alot more so than Tank did after his first year. The biggest evidence there would be the videos that he has done....it takes weeks for them to clear his videos for public release...chances are that they will loosen it going into his second year and further on.

The demo stuff ismore on the fans who played, people just didnt tape their play, and those who did, most of them clearly dont really know how to play, lol. The other thing that contributes to this too is that the communities who use to tape alot of videos now dont because they are being told more about what to expect.and are having conversations with guys like Bryan about the game...rather than going on site playing the demo and releasing as much video as they can.

I'm pretty set on how the gameplay is going to be, there really isnt anything else I'm going to learn from other people playing a demo

You make a good point OP. I just came to the site to see what, if any, new info is available, and reading this thread made me realize I'm still trying to hear something interesting or see some decent footage for a game that is almost ready to release. This definitely feels different than other years. Maybe that's not a good sign. Hell, they've pretty much admitted in interviews that WWE12 was the big year for changes with some tweaks to the engine, physics, and controls, and now they are back to the bells and whistles and just throwing in a new storymode.

The reason why we'll never completely get what we are asking for, is because there are too many people asking, lol. "I want this for the submission system"....."I'm perfectly fine with the current sub system, I want more Universe control, all I care about"......"I disagree with the first person, THIS is how you should do the submission system, and for you, they need to leave Universe alone, its great" Quick question....if your THQ who do you make the game for....because you choose one, your a lazy piece a shit who doesnt cater or listen to the fans at all, to the other two people throwing out their opinion? There is no answer...thats why your never going to get the game your asking for. EVERY piece of this game, whether it be the specific moves/the crowd/music/controls/art design/creation features, has critics who like it....or hate it. The biggest problem with people who dont like it....they ALL have different ideas to what will make it better, and everyone of them believes they are the one who should be listened too.
