Welcome to the GR E-Fed Sign up

Welcome to the GR E-Fed Sign up forum. Here is where you sign up for either the IWA and WWG, just post your bio below and either i or Frisco will come and assign you to which ever fed suits you best.

Below is a desciptive bio, and advice to help create your charactor, below that is a basic template to copy and paste in your OWN SEPERATE POST TOPIC.

    Welcome to the GR E-FED...

    IWA SUPERSTAR PROFILE

    WRESTLERS NAME:

    NICKNAMES:
A few other names to call your wrestler when writing matches. A good example is the Undertaker is also often called the Deadman, the phenom…etc

    DISPOSITION:
    Heel…face…tweener?

    GENDER:
Is it a guy or a diva?

    WRESTLERS AGE:

    WEIGHT:

    HEIGHT:

    HOMETOWN:
    Hail's from where?

    PLACE OF BIRTH:
    Where were you born.

    DESCRIPTION:
What does your wrestler look like? What does he wear to the ring? Anything that gives us a better idea of what he/she looks like is good.

    GIMMICK/ATTITUDE:
A brief description of your wrestlers gimmick. It could be a frustrated Superhero, or a deranged Proctologist. Etc.

    ENTRANCE THEME:
What music hits the speakers when your wrestler enters the arena?

    ENTRANCE:
How do you see your wrestler making their ring entrance. Please be specific and detailed. Imagine how you want your entrance done and write it. That is something that always gets looked at when writing matches. It's almost always a cut and paste type project so you want to do a good job on this

    BIOGRAPHY:
Give us a little background on your wrestler.

    PERSONALITY:
You'd give a general idea of what the personality of your wrestler is. Is he/she outgoing? Quiet and reserved? An ego maniac?

    MANNERISMS/CATCH PHRASES:
We've all seen the Rock and Stone Cold. Does your wrestler have a little of that in them?

    WRESTLING STYLE:
Is your guy a grappler like Benoit? A brawler like Austin? A high flyer like Rey Mysterio? A power house like Batista? Or average all around?

    ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Tell us a little about your characters accomplishments. This is where you want to mention any memorable feuds, or other major IWA accomplishments. Is he a former champion? If so you should list it here.

ATTRIBUTE POINTS: Max 10 for each category
this is new and important. If you've played any of the wrestling games and dabbled in the CAW you have attribute points to disperse for your wrestler. The same thing goes here. Everyone has THIRTY points to spread over 5 categories. They are as follows.

    STRENGTH:
Is your wrestler strong or weak?

    SPEED:
Is your wrestler a speedster or the big slow?

    VITALITY:
Can your wrestler take a beating or does he/she go down easily?

    CHARISMA:
You have it or you don't. Is your wrestler the next Hulk Hogan or the next Lance Storm?

FINISHERS are (duh!) your finishers. Feel free to get imaginative with these, they are your character's most personal moves that define him or her as a wrestler. Try to list two finishing moves. That way if someone is writing a match they can reference this and get an idea for a possible conclusion.

LOW IMPACT MOVES are moves that are not going to win a match, but rather just soften the opponent up a bit, such as Punch, Kick, Elbow Drop, Stomp, the average Clothesline or a regular Suplex. Use these especially at the beginning of the match.

MEDIUM IMPACT MOVES COULD in theory win a match after a lot of softening the opponent up and usually cause greater damage than the above, such as a regular DDT, Armbar, Scoop Slam, Roll-Up Pin or Powerslam. Some of the weaker submissions which very rarely come close to winning a match go into this category. These can come into play quite soon after the bell, but don't forget to throw in a Low Impact move here or there.

HIGH IMPACT MOVES could very well win a match or cripple an opponent, like a Chokeslam, Piledriver, any top rope splash, most any neck bumps or the Sharpshooter. Usually if a move drops the opponent on their head or neck, it's heavy impact. Most submissions belong in the Heavy Impact category. These moves should mostly only come into play after the first half of the match.

    TRADEMARK TAUNT:
Something that is very specific to your wrestler. A good example is how the Undertaker…after a big move…rises to a sitting position. Or Hulk Hogan’s famous,” Hulking up!”

    RELATED WRESTLERS:
Which current... or well known... wrestler is most similar to your wrestler. This is very important. If I’m writing a match and I’m short on time I’ll look here first to see who your wrestler is most similar to. That might save me a lot of research to get a good idea of how to write him/her. If it says "Stone Cold Steve Austin" I'll know better than to write him as being similar to Matt Hardy.

    STABLE:
If you make a stable what is it called. A prime example is "Evolution"

    STABLE MEMBERS:
Which other IWA Superstars are in the stable?

    TAG TEAM:
If you make a tag team this is where you'd want to list it.

    TAG TEAM ENTRANCE THEME:
What music does your wrestler head to the ring with?

    TAG TEAM ENTRANCE:
How do you see your wrestler making their ring entrance. Please be specific and detailed. Imagine how you want your entrance done and write it. That is something that always gets looked at when writing matches. It's almost always a cut and paste type project so you want to do a good job on this.

    TAG TEAM FINISHERS:
Those nasty double team moves every good tag team uses. A good example is infamous Dudley Boys, “What sup?” move.

    MANAGER/VALET INFORMATION... if applicable
If your wrestler has a manager or valet...or both... this is the place to list it

    MANAGER:

    WILL THE MANAGER INTERFERE?:

Just some basic information about yourself.

IWA is the place where newer RPers go, in hopes of being promoted to the WWG where the more experienced RPers are.

As a general rule, true. Though as you can see from the top of the first messaeg in this thread we're workign on that so that both feds get new members. The movelist system on the profile for IWA in this thread is out of date, though. It goes like this:

The moves now go into four categories, Finishers, Low Impact Moves, Medium Impact Moves and High Impact Moves.

We also now ask that if a move on your movelist is not one that every person to have ever see wrestling knows, please describe it. In detail. We don't want a signature move to not be used just because the guy writing the match has no idea what the the move is and what it does. Also feel free to put "notes" along with the possible description if there's anything special about when your opponent uses the move or how they do it or how it works into their strategy, like in the examples below.

Also, if you're re-naming a move, please include the move's original name, like in example 1.

    *****************************

    Example 1:

    Name: Reina Luchadora

    Finishers:

    1. "Reina Speciale" (Double Top-Rope Rolling Senton)
Description: Reina stands at the turnbuckles, grabs the top rope and jumps up onto it. She launches herself into the air, twisting around her body and crashing back first into her opponent with a Rolling Senton, knocking them down. Without slowing her momentum Reina runs to the opposite turnbuckles and leaps up onto the top rope. Again she takes to the air, nailing her now prone opponent with another Rolling Senton.
Note: Usually goes into it after dodging under a Clothesline or after hitting the opponent with a Spider Suplex.

    Example 2:

    Name: Mikko Laurinen

    Medium Impact:

    1. Dragon Screw
Description: Mikko grabs opponents leg or arm under his armpit, then whips his free arm around the limb, twisting the knee/shoulder and flipping the opponent over.
Note: Mikko usually does the Dragon Screw after blocking an attack, a punch or Clothesline for the arm variation or a kick for the classic version, and then capturing the respective limb. Mikko usually follows the Dragon Screw up by keeping a hold on the limb and dropping an elbow on it.

Jester has slowly grown out of his brawling/hardcore style into a more submission/grappling style with a touch of his signature acrobatics, but he is still one of the best hardcore wrestlers around.
