When this game becomes easily moddable, I'll be one of the ones writing mods for it. You have the potential to beat out MDickie's Wrestling MPire series, man.

    Re: Homebrew Wrestling

my plan is to create some development kits for it, so people can mod it. Still a little away though. I want to make more wrestlers, animations and matches first.

to be blunt I'd say just with the demo Homebrew Wrestling has all of MDickie's games beat. The core gameplay is there, and it's not with Dickie's outings.

I tried playing it, but it's so slooooooooooooooow and choppy. I love the concept and the ring selection, though.

Unfortunately it may be choppy on slower systems, because Adobe's 3D engine sucks right now. Try to go into the options and change the screen size. It should run a little better if you do that.

I'd also like to announce new updates - version 1.1 is up along with the new match type, The Inferno Match and a patch system which will hopefully limit the number of times you have to download the entire thing). Plus, I uploaded two new wrestlers, Kane and The Undertaker.

    Re: Homebrew Wrestling

not really any chance. Simply because there are way too many other wrestlers that I want to make first.

The program I used is called Macromedia Director MX 2004 (yes, they haven't updated it since 2004)

All right man. I'll give it a shot. I have a good, newer computer, but maybe I need to tweak some settings. I really want to get into and enjoy this game. As for my previous post, to clarify, I was not attempting to knock you or your hard work. Just the fact that you'd do this and give it away for free is awesome, and I commend you for that.

    Re: Homebrew Wrestling

not a problem. I never took it as a knock. I just wish I could make the game more compatible, but I'm kinda slave to the outdated engine. I hope you can get it to work! And thanks for the kind words
