Week 7 - Weekly Task

For this week’s Weekly Task, Big Brother is wanting to see housemate's reviewing skills as for this week's Weekly Task housemates are to write a 500-word minimum review on their experience in this year's Big Brother. Housemates should include thing that they've liked, things that they haven't liked, things they would change/do differently, & other improvements that they would suggest/make if they were Big Brother. Housemates can also comment on how they feel it compares to their previous experiences in Big Brother (if any), & practically anything else that they want to say.

All of the submitted reviews will be judged by Big Brother on a number of factors including but not limited to: Whether it is meets the 500-word minimum; Overall quality of the text; Spelling & Grammar; & Structure of the text.

As this is a weekly task, it is mandatory for all housemates to attempt this task. There are no housemates who are not permitted to participate in the task this week. If a housemate fails to attempt a task, they will incur a fail for the group & will not be rewarded as all other housemates [who attempt the task] will do, if the house passes the task. This week the house is allowed to incur 1 fail; if the house gets 2 or more fails, the entire house will fail the task.

When each housemate has completed their review & are ready to submit them, please send them via PM to the Big Brother account (click here). Please do not send it to the Big Brothers (Me, Venom, or Querantino). This account has been created to receive all of the PMs, so that our inboxes no longer get flooded with PMs from you guys.

The deadline for this task will be 10pm ET on Friday July 24th (3am BST, 12pm GMT+10 - both on Saturday July 25th in their respective timezones).

If 4 or more housemates successfully pass the task, the prize money will raise by $10 – to $20. If housemates fail this task it will drop by $20, down from $10 to -$10. In addition, if the house passes the task, all housemates who pass this task will be rewarded with 6 free posts which will expire Tuesday at 11:59pm, in thier respective timezone. Also, if all 5 housemates successfully participate in this task, the Prize Money will raise by $20, instead of $10.

Finally, housemates are permitted to post in the task thread.

This is Big Brother.

For this week's Weekly Task housemates were to complete a review of their experience in Big Brother. Housemates were allowed to incur a maximum of 1 fail; If housemates passed this task they would earn themselves 6 free posts & the Prize Money would raise by $10, if the house failed the housemates would not earn any free posts & the Prize Money would drop to -$10. Big Brother also gave housemates the opportunity to add $20, instead of $10, to the Prize Money if all housemates passed the task. The results are as follows:

Reolver submitted a review which met Big Brother's satisfaction, & so passed the task.

Imp submitted a review which met Big Brother's satisfaction, & so passed the task.

C://Spot/Run did not submit a review & so incurred one fail for the house.

SuperCrazy did not submit a review & so incurred one fail for the house.

Therefore, as the house incurred a total of 2 fails, they have failed this week's Weekly Task & so will not recieve any free posts & the Prize Money has fallen to -$10.

Well, I had some busy days at work.

Here's the thing though, and, I would have put this in my review if I had gotten around to it.

When you make the evictions at the same time as the task, then obviously, whoever is going to be evicted, isn't going to do the task. In this case, I had only a few spare hours from work at night, and I thought to myself, do I want to play a game, read some of my book, or do a BB task for a game that I'm about to be evicted from? It wouldn't really make sense for me to do so, and for the next BB, the eviction and task should be taken care of seperately.

Now, if the latter included circumstances of being evicted against Nike or Imp, I'd probably have continued to help, but you guys put me up when there were more inactive people left, so - why should I help to get you guys more money, which was my only aim from the start?

Ahh well, good luck to the remaining four.

The reason why I decided to give y'all until the same time as the end of the evition poll was because then it'd give everybody plenty of time to do it & would mean nobody could really say "I didn't have the time". However I also thought that with y'all not knowing who would go, & kalso wanting to help the Prize Money raise by $20, both you & SC would've completed the task, but with having to do the Public Poll you guys knew exactly who was gonna go which pretty much defeated that idea.

I didn't technically put you up but i see your point. However it would've been nice to pass the final task. I noticed you posted saying you'd have yours up by the deadline which seemed positive to us passing. Not to be though unfortunately

As it stands i doubt there'll be any prize money. Not a biggy though. It's been a lot of fun.

Thats kind of funy how if we were to pass the prize money would go up ten, but since we failed it dropped twenty. You truly are a cheap skate ben.
